From January to February, China's new energy vehicle exports increased by 7.5% year-on-year

According to the data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers on March 11, China's new energy vehicles maintained stable operation in January and February, and automobile exports continued to perform well.

Data show that from January to February this year, the production and sales of new energy vehicles completed 1.252 million and 1.207 million, respectively, an increase of 28.2% and 29.4%, and the market share reached 30%. Among them, in February, the production and sales of new energy vehicles were 464,000 and 477,000, respectively, down 16% and 9.2% year-on-year, and the market share reached 30.1%.

From January to February this year, the domestic sales volume of new energy vehicles was 1.025 million, an increase of 34.3%. In February, the domestic sales of new energy vehicles were 395,000, down 37.2% from the previous month and down 9.8% year-on-year.

From the export point of view, from January to February this year, 182,000 new energy vehicles were exported, an increase of 7.5%. Among them, in February, 82,000 new energy vehicles were exported, down 18.5% month-on-month and down 5.9% year-on-year.

According to the analysis of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, this February experienced a complete Spring Festival holiday, effective working days were reduced, the manufacturing industry was in the traditional off-season, the production and operation of enterprises were affected to a certain extent, and the overall market activity declined. From the trend point of view, China's economy is still continuing the expansion trend, and enterprise expectations are relatively stable.

From the perspective of automobile production and sales, part of the demand for car purchases has been released before the Spring Festival, and the overall automobile production and sales have fallen compared with January. From the operation situation in January to February, passenger cars and commercial vehicles continued to operate smoothly, and new energy vehicles and automobile exports continued to perform well.

The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers said that the automobile is the current economic performance of the industry, is the stable growth of the industrial economy "ballast stone". In this year's government work report, it was clearly proposed to consolidate and expand the leading advantages of intelligent net-connected new energy vehicles and other industries, and also proposed to boost large-scale consumption of intelligent net-connected new energy vehicles and electronic products.
